Aaliyan Qureshi’s journey as a writer is evidence to the power of perseverance and determination. As a young author, his experience with an 8th-grade English final assignment transformed his approach to writing and unlocked a world of creativity he never knew existed. The assignment marked a turning point in his journey, challenging his preconceived notions of the subject and pushing him to explore the depths of his creative potential.

The Assignment Wake-Up Call: “English class was straightforward. I had always imagined it as being some class where students might read a couple of books and write a few papers, and if your grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary were all decent, you could manage to get a decent grade.

“Aaliyan’s Galactic Creation – ‘Rebellion’s Endurance’: “The narrative that emerged from Aaliyan’s dedication was ‘Rebellion’s Endurance.’ In a galaxy where darkness reigned supreme, a ruthless empire known as the Dominion of Starfall had spread fear, oppression, and conformity across countless star systems.

“The Final Grade and Continued Growth: “I came to terms with the fact that some parts of my story were poorly executed, and there were a few plot holes in the ending. It was then that I accepted that ‘English is hard’ and promised myself to continue pushing myself to become a better writer.

“Advice for Aspiring Writers: “My suggestion would be to accept the challenges. Writing is a process, and it’s okay to struggle with it and make mistakes. Don’t let doubts hold you back. Push it, look for inspiration from a variety of sources, and be prepared to
